66: War on Film

combat boots for wartime dreams
hide in the movie theatre,
watching the tragic scenes.
have the flashback video montage -
ridded with deja vu
and the recollection
of a dusty, winding path - as we sit on the armchair
and pray that
everything is in its rightful, old place.
